Planet Earth and its children

On the occasion of the 175th anniversary of Kindermissionswerk ‚Die Sternsinger’ (Missionary Childhood Germany), we would like to cordially invite you to an online symposium on the topic of child health worldwide.

November 5th, 2021, 3.00 - 8.00 CET | Online Symposium

Health for all children

Kindermissionswerk ‚Die Sternsinger’ (Missionary Childhood Germany) has been committed to helping disadvantaged children and children in need for 175 years. Together with our project partners around the world, we have committed ourselves to implement children's rights, for example by promoting education, child protection and inclusion.

The upcoming Sternsinger-campaign focuses on issues of global health. Together with Missionsärztliches Institut (Medical Mission Institute) Würzburg, we are offering a symposium on this important topic in our anniversary year 2021. The international conference’s key issue will follow the question: “Planet Earth and its Children. Health for all Children - how can that be achieved?”

We are pleased to welcome Prof. Dr. med. August Stich, Head of Department for Tropical Medicine in Würzburg, for the introductory lecture, and Mrs Elizabeth Lule, Board member of Save the Children International, for the keynote lecture. In addition, project partners of Kindermissionswerk ‚Die Sternsinger’ and employees of Missionsärztliches Institut Würzburg will report on their work.

Online participation

The conference will take place as an online event. Lectures and discussions will be broadcasted live. To participate, please follow the link in the invitation you will receive a few days before the event.
